User Name: [AccountUnavaili able]

Character name: Lucas Alexander

Mutant Name: Ferro

Abilities/powers:

Lucas has the ability to control and manipulate electromagnetic fields. In some cases he can generate them, though at great effort at his current power level (meaning he'd become disoriented and pass out if he created one).

The simplest of his powers is the ability to control and manipulate ferromagnetic materials (eg Iron, Nickel, Cobalt, Gadolinium, Dysprosium and alloys such as Steel that contain ferromagnetic metals including Adamantium) As this is the strongest magnetic force.

His skin can take on the properties of the metal he touches (Only one at a time) (also the area of skin taking on the properties will increase over time, I.e. to begin with only his arm will take on the properties if touching with hands etc.)

A few interesting titbits about his powers:

- He always knows which way is magnetic North.
- Magnets will occasionally stick to him.
- If he were to sit on a completely metal spinning chair, the chair would continuously spin.

Sex: Male

Age: 18

Birthday November 19th

General appearance: Lucas has Medium length, thick, light chestnut brown hair, pushed back behind his ears. His face is straight edged and hard and attractive, with a slightly crooked nose after being broken. He has bluey grey eyes that show happiness and a twinkle of creativity, but sadness and remorse that did not belong to him. He stands at 5"11, with a slim, slightly muscular build of someone who looks after himself. His voice is soft, caring, but can sometimes be mixed with the harshness of an old man. His build is athletic, of someone who has undergone rigorous physical training,. His attire consists of simple block coloured V neck or polar neck shirts, tight fitting to his body. He wears tight fitting jeans unless exercising, none of his cloths are designer, he believes in simple attire, no names.

Additional Appearance: 'Veins' of a thin bio metallic substance running from his fingertips up his arm that only appear when using his powers.

Personality: Mild tempered individual, not one to anger quickly, however on the occasion this does happen he has no fear of using his powers to put people in their place. He enjoys having fun in the company of others, but when left alone he is overcome by a strange emptiness, sorrow that is not his. First impressions are (to his knowledge) mixed, they can be good, but when faced with an obvious physical mutation he will loose himself in his curiosity. Kind to his friends and protective, he becomes fascinated with the powers of others, and as a keen scientist, looks for the cause in their mutation, and the workings of it. An avid reader, he can usually be found in his room with a book. He can be hostile however to humans, and finds it shocking that someone would be ashamed of their powers.

Hobbies Reading, Fencing, Writing, Running, practising his powers, gazing up at the stars, learning new things.

Special Skills: Has some hand to hand combat skills, as well as an advanced capability of fencing and genius level intellect.

Place of birth: Washington, D.C.

Weapon(s) of choice: Three small solid metal spheres each 25mm in diameter, one made of Iron, one made of Nickel, the other made of Gadolinium.

Medical information: Classified

Brief History: Lucas was brought into this world through the cloning process. With a sample of Magneto's DNA injected into an egg and grown in an artificial womb, previous experiments proved unsuccessful due to the instability of Erik Lehnsherr's DNA, and advanced ageing of cells shown in the clones. Lucas was created by the combination of Raven Darkhölme's DNA and Erik Lehnsherr's DNA (Mystique's DNA stabilising magneto's and allowing Lucas to be created. He was brought up to be the governments own personal soldier, attending classes in combat training and educating his advanced mind. However, before he was given a chance to train his powers, he joined another subject in their escape, of the facility, and the program was shut down. After some time on the run, he found his was to Xaviers school for gifted youngsters.

2011-06-02 [Duredhel]: Ok... well... seems ok. Nothing too impressive or interesting but it's decent. The powers are stepping a lot into Magneto's... so I don't know about that, we won't have Magneto show up in the RP but I see it drawing a lot of flak from other players. Naturally secreted adamantium seems a bit like a cop up, and it doesn't fit thematically with magnetic powers as one might think, it's a bit jarring. Last one, this is the third character with grey/silver eyes we've gotten today >,< seriously, what's with kids and that? If everyone has grey/silver eyes, it's not really uncommon or special anymore, is it? Anyhow, yeah, sufficient, but it could be a lot better.

The silver eyes and the fact he's adopted, too, make me think you may want him related to Magneto or Quicksilver... if he is, though no one will know, it still needs to say so in the char sheet. (Or at the least, you need to tell the GM)

2011-06-02 [Figgy]: There's also three other characters with grey/silver eyes >.>

2011-06-02 [Duredhel]: Btw mate, the character CAN go in as is, at least on my part. The stuff I'm saying are suggestions, while jarring, none of those things are a dealbreaker.

2011-06-02 [AccountUnavaili able]: Silver eyes I thought for the Adamantium, but if that's going out then that can easily be changed, I was thinking maybe a clone of magneto left to grow naturally and that's why he was adopted by two professors? But I thought it may be a bit much.

2011-06-02 [Duredhel]: Nah, mate, we have a clone already so there's a precedent. And that's good, ideas like that aren't bad, you just need to let the GM at least know so she can plot accordingly.

2011-06-02 [AccountUnavaili able]: Alright, maybe not a clone of magneto, how about having his powers put into a child? I like the idea of him being an experiment... :)

2011-06-02 [Duredhel]: You'd have to figure out HOW this was done, tho. A clone is easier because you just need DNA and a surrogate. The easiest way to put his powers into a child would be a clone XD. Btw, Magneto DOES have blue-grey eyes, so you could change the eye color to that.

2011-06-02 [AccountUnavaili able]: Hmm, I'm sure I can adapt the history a bit, For example, isolating the X gene and inserting it into another human or mutant :P Will change it accordingly and see what you think? :)

2011-06-02 [Duredhel]: Aye. I just make suggestions tho, it's Figgs' decision in the end.
